Sample 8: Installation of Flagstone over Existing Concrete Stairs & Walkway

By installing flagstone over the existing stoop, stairs, & walkway, we were able to save the customer a few thousand dollars!  Taking out the existing concrete steps, walkway, and stoop is not always necessary.    Though the initial concrete began to pit, settle unevenly, and look poor, it provided a sturdy (and already settled) base for the new flagstone walkway.   Once flagstone has been installed on top of the initial structure, as you can see, it looks like brand new.
